I've already tried the sopcast website as well as a recommended mirror and still get a trojan warning(I use avg antivirus).

AVG is detecting the exe file in the installation of your program, so just disable AVG temporarily until you have installed the software and then restart AVG

I don't use AVG, I use Avast, but the file from sopcast.org doesn't show up as a trojan for me. I've been using sopcast @ livefooty since the beginning of August and haven't had any problems.
