HELP!i can't play our family videos posted on youtube after learning that my computer got virus

2 days ago, whenever my wife opens her friendster, she's directed to my own friendster profile;last night, my family and 1 played youtube.left the computer open, when i came back after 30 mins, our computer is full of websites i didn't open.it just keeps on coming in and now my computer is hanging!now, i downloaded antivirus that comes with my isp (cablevision) and it "cured" many stuffs, but my computer is not the same again.IT'S SO SLOW and HANGING AT TIMES!.it's my fault i didn't install antivirus in the 1st place...grrrr!!! reformat is not an option: i don't have xp cd/ office2003 cd. if i buy norton, will it solve everything?how can i get my fast computer back and our family videos played again on youtube? pls help! thank you.

Start in start mode with internet %26 do a free online scan at the following:

When your PC is clean download Avast free AV:

Good with XP %26 Vista, only use one AV.

UPDATE

Start in safe mode without internet %26 run your AV %26 antispyware programs, then come back.

i what you had was spyware ( probably a trojan) i had that and my computer was very slow, don't know how put eventualy it got faster (although never the same)

I suggest you download AVG antispyware
